We fully drained the Leaf’s battery, to Moscow in one rental session, new rental point to visit the President and go to the beach and some other bloopers.

ELMO Rent electric cars have been rolling on the roads for almost two months. During the longest rental session 1,038 km (distance from Tallinn to Moscow) have been driven, followed by 825 km. We are happy that as of today we have 785 active users of the rental service.

Our aim is to deserve the title of a pioneer in user friendliness of the rental service. There is still a long way to go, but we have made some steps already.

It’s our pleasure to inform that we have simplified the ways of payment and starting from November 20th, 2017 you can easily pay for the services by your bank card or downpayment. This will release you from the boring invoices payments.  You can perform invoice payments until December 4th, 2017. You can change your way of payment by logging in into self-service environment and choosing a respective payment in the customer settings.

We opened new rental points in Kadriorg and Pirita. Shortly rental points will appear in Balti jaam (railway station), on Pärnu mnt. and we are looking for a suitable place in Lasnamäe.

There were some bloopers too. We must admit that our customer service was sometimes pretty infirm. There was some embarrassment with invoicing, when due to an error in the adminsystem we forwarded angry reminders to the customers who had already paid the invoices.  Once our SMS service activating system was down due to some Telia problems. We caused some inconveniences to the owners of electric cars because of the incorrectly parked rental cars at the fast chargers.

Improvement of the customer services is our A&O, and our 10-member team is actively involved in this activity. We promise to be better, much better in December.

Following us at our Facebook ELMO Rent 2.0 you can be best informed about current and future changes, therefore come, look and catch the wind. There is much more interesting.  For example, how soon does the Leaf’s battery run down in cold weather conditions, we also disclosed some our plans concerning self-driving cars and much more.
